

Janet and Jeff attended Goodwill Baptist Church where she was a member and played the organ on occasion. Janet and Jeff would often double date with Jeff’s late son, Jeffrey. After Bill’s death she met her soul mate, Jeff Trader. They especially loved the mountains and frequently made trips to Baltimore to obtain parts for his business, Gibbons Auto Parts in Pocomoke. On December 11, 1954, she married her loving husband, William “Bill” Gibbons, Jr. She along with her mother, Ruby worked for Fruitland Shirt Factory. After graduating high school, she attended Goldey-Beacom Business School. Born on January 4, 1935, in Accomack County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Wilson Price Hudson and Ruby Ward Hudson. Janet Frances Gibbons, 87, of Pocomoke City, passed away on Friday, Maat Peak Healthcare at Hartley Hall in Pocomoke City.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Maat 11 am at Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke City, MD. Hudson and Charles “CW” Hudson, and a niece, Brandy Parsons. In addition to her loving parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, William “Doc” Gibbons, Jr., two brothers, Wayne W. Janet is survived by a special companion of 17 years Jeff Trader two sister-in-law’s, Billye Hudson and Sandra Ellis three nieces, Christy (David) Manning, Kim (DJ) Parkinson, Lisa (Rick) Martinson a nephew, David (Donella) Hudson 6 great nieces 10 great nephews four special friends Geraldine Mills, Viola and Vaughn Payne, and Molly Wright.
